Photonics I

The overall aim of the two-course series is to present the essential theory of modern photonics methods as actually used in industry and research labs today. This course will focus on the basic theory of optics in anisotropic and nonlinear media and the basic methods of modulating and controlling light. Prerequisite: ECE 1259; PHYS 0368 recommended
